About Us
Alara Magritte and Daniel Rosen began working together when they discovered a shared passion for music and storytelling. Their first full-length musical With Great Power was self-produced in their hometown to sold out audiences. Their second musical, Safe Hands, debuted a workshop production with the SheNYC Arts Summer Festival after previously being featured on the The Latest Draft, Behind a Door, and at the Lime Arts 20x20 Fringe Festival, Musical Theatre Factory, and Rogue Theater Festival. In addition to their theatrical work the duo have released multiple recordings including This Year (2020), an extended playlist of original Christmas songs and a Halloween album Magritte + Rosen's House of Haunts (2021). A cabaret featuring selections from their full catalog was selected for the 26th Annual Festival of new American Theatre with Phoenix Theatre Company. The two are also passionate about using their art for activism. In 2023, they produced "My Body, My Voice" a benefit concert featuring musical theatre artists and singer-songwriters to support abortion access nonprofit The Brigid Alliance.
