 Magritte & Rosen are proud to announce that they will be presenting a Composer Lyricist Cabaret in conjunction with Phoenix Theatre Company as part of the annual Festival of New American Theatre. The 2 night event will feature special song selections from across their repertoire and the vocals of Michala Montano, Jessica Lester, Connor Dunning, and Cassie Chilton. Music Directed by Andie Chung. Please join us Saturday, January 20th at 6pm and Sunday, January 21st at 1pm at Phoenix Theatre Company. In addition, a selection from Safe Hands will be showcased in the Choreography Lab on Saturday, January 13th at both 1pm and 6pm. Modeled after and inspired by the New York Theatre Barn event of the same name, this offering will showcase how movement and dance can elevate and expand storytelling in new musicals. This event will feature two different choreographers setting movement on four dancers to the same song from a new musical. The two interpretations will be presented in tandem to show the iconic mark a choreographer can leave on a musical. |
