Magritte & Rosen are proud to announce that they will be presenting a Composer Lyricist Cabaret in conjunction with Phoenix Theatre Company as part of the annual Festival of New American Theatre. The 2 night event will feature special song selections from across their repertoire and the vocals of Michala Montano, Jessica Lester, Connor Dunning, and Cassie Chilton. Music Directed by Andie Chung. Please join us Saturday, January 20th at 6pm and Sunday, January 21st at 1pm at Phoenix Theatre Company.
In addition, a selection from Safe Hands will be showcased in the Choreography Lab on Saturday, January 13th at both 1pm and 6pm. Modeled after and inspired by the New York Theatre Barn event of the same name, this offering will showcase how movement and dance can elevate and expand storytelling in new musicals. This event will feature two different choreographers setting movement on four dancers to the same song from a new musical. The two interpretations will be presented in tandem to show the iconic mark a choreographer can leave on a musical.
Join us at the beautiful Mastercard Midnight Theatre this Friday, December 15th for a special presentation of new work and original holiday songs. Selections from Magritte and Rosen's Christmas Album This Year will close out the night featuring the lovely voices of Lucy Hall and Jermaine Doris and accompaniment by Allison Kraus. Alara Magritte's snowy duet developed with Sonya Hayden as part of the Playdate Holiday Conference will be presented by Maestra as part of their First Takes series. The program pairs composers with orchestrators and music directors to further develop a song with full orchestration and workshop through the developed piece live with an audience. Alara Magritte's wintery romance song, Snow One Else for Me, which she wrote alongside Sonya Hayden at the Playdate Holiday Conference, will be featured at McGuire & Simon's 9th Annual Holiday Salon. The night will be filled with 14 new holiday songs from local songwriters and composers. The show starts at 7pm on December 12th in Midtown West.
A $25 donation is requested at the door which will benefit The Parents Circle Families Forum, a joint Israeli-Palestinian nonprofit organization of bereaved families working toward peace and reconciliation through ongoing dialogue and the sharing of their personal stories of loss.

This abortion access nonprofit serves as a trusted point of contact for every step of the journey for those seeking abortions; providing travel, food, lodging, child care, and other logistical support.
