We are thrilled to announce that we will be in Seattle this summer to bring Safe Hands to Seattle Public Theater for their Distillery New Works Festival. The Distillery New Works Festival is a celebration of emerging theater and an opportunity for playwrights to gain valuable feedback on new work. This year Distillery is being produced by Seattle Public Theater in association with Macha Theatre Works, and all selected works pass the Macha Test, a set of criteria used to determine if a script fulfills Macha Theatre Works' mission to produce feminist theatre. The June performance will be directed by Dr. Grace Edgar and feature a live reading and talkback with the creators. Tickets available soon.
